While the other elephants of the Khamla family wander off in search of their own joys, Dao Rueang embraces a quieter rhythm. Gentle by nature, she takes her time, slowly making her way to a cherished corner that feels like her own private sanctuary.
Here, she indulges in the simple pleasures she loves most — snapping her favorite branches, grazing on fresh grass, and resting her great body against a sturdy tree. Sometimes, in the safety of this peaceful retreat, she even drifts off into a short, contented nap.
